The National Lottery Community Fund supported Compassionate Voices and The Power of YOU throughout the Covid Pandemic. Initially granting our project with funding from the Government’s Coronavirus Community Fund and then with two annual  funding pots to support our community and The Power of YOU Wellbeing & Empowerment workshops. In November 2023, we once again received funding for our ‘Bridge to a More Fulfilled Life’ project

In October 2023 Compassionate Voices were successful in receiving their first grant from ‘Children in Need’. Using the same strategies that have been successful to empower women, the workshops will enable 11-18 year old girls to share their experiences, form bonds with one another  and realise that they are not alone in their circumstances, or how they feel. It’s because of the generosity from ‘Children in Need’ we are now making this happen with ‘This is ME’ and ‘Map to Fantastique’ Workshops.

In December 2023, Compassionate Voices CIC successfully received funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. This was for our ‘One Step Further’ project  and enables us to organise 3 excursions to places of interest.  These excursions will include Liverpool ( The Beatles Story), Stratford-Upon-Avon ( Shakespeare’s Story) and Chatsworth House ( Christmas Story)

Nottinghamshire County Council has not only funded The Power of YOU workshops in the Ashfield/ Mansfield areas,

Derbyshire County Council’s support is ongoing. We have already received funding for The Power of YOU Wellbeing and Empowerment Workshops, Step Outs and a Speak Out event at Loundsley Green Community Centre too

In 2022, Derbyshire Voluntary Action’s Feeling Connected Project funded 4 x The Power of You Workshops in North East Derbyshire. Funding also included a couple of Step Outs (monthly Peer Support sessions)  to follow after.
